BAKED APPLESAUCE MEATBALLS 
2 c. corn flakes
3 tbsp. chopped onion
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1 egg, slightly beaten
2/3 c. thick applesauce
1 (10 oz.) can tomato soup
1/2 c. water

Crush corn flakes slightly. Combine with remaining ingredients except soup and water; mix well. Shape into balls about 1 3/4" in diameter. Place in a 9"x13" pan. Combine soup and water. Pour over meatballs. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. Serve with hot buttered rice or noodles.
