ONION PICKLES 
12 green hot peppers
12 red hot peppers
12 lg. onions or 4 lbs.
1 c. sugar
1 pt. red or white vinegar
3 tbsp. salt

Cut onions, pepper (remove seeds). Cover with boiling water and let stand 10 minutes. Drain well. Add sugar, salt, and vinegar. Boil 10 minutes from the time it starts to boil. Pour into jars and seal at once.
