WILD RICE SOUP 
1 c. cooked wild rice
3 cans cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
2 c. chicken broth
3/4 c. sauteed onions, seasoned to taste
8 oz. fresh mushrooms or 2 cans mushrooms including juice
1 c. cooked chicken or 2 cans mixed chicken including broth
1 c. raw potatoes, cut in sm. pieces
1/2 c. diced raw carrots
1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained
1/2 to 1 c. shredded Cojack or Hvarti cheese

Simmer on low, stirring occasionally for 45 minutes. Add cheese the last 10 minutes of cooking. Serves 8.
