BEEF IN A BLANKET 
1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. onion (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
2 c. Bisquick
2/3 c. milk
Butter
1 can mushroom soup
1/3 soup can of milk
1 sm. can peas

Brown the ground beef and onion; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Turn often to keep beef well separated. Mix Bisquick and 2/3 cup milk; turn out onto floured board and roll out, not too thin.

Drain the liquid fat from the browned beef; spoon the beef onto dough and spread evenly. Roll up and seal by moistening edges and pinching together. Brush top with butter. Bake at 450 degrees 10 minutes.

Mix soup, 1/3 soup can milk and peas; heat. Slice meat roll and serve with sauce. Yield: 6 servings.
