BEST CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
1 c. Crisco
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
5-6 c. flour
1 bag chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans (optional)

Cream together the Crisco, butter and sugars. Gradually add eggs one at a time. Combine rest of ingredients. Spoon on cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
