24 HOUR LETTUCE SALAD | |
1/2 to 3/4 head lettuce 1/2 c. chopped green pepper 1/2 c. green onion, sliced 1 c. celery, chopped 1 pkg. cooked frozen peas, cooled 3 hard boiled eggs, chopped Put all ingredients into bowl in order given. Spread 3/4 cup mayonnaise over top to seal thoroughly. (Also may add 1/4 cup sour cream to mayonnaise). Sprinkle bacon bits (5 slices cooked and crumbled) on top and 1 cup Cheddar cheese. Cover and refrigerate at least 12 hours. |
