2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
3 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. vanilla
4 1/2 c. plain flour

Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs one at a time. Add vanilla. Combine flour and baking soda and add to creamed mixture. Roll into marble sized balls. Place on greased cookie sheet and press out with fork. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.
