SCALLOPED POTATOES 
4 c, thinly sliced, pared, white potatoes
1 c. thinly sliced onions
1 can condensed mushroom soup
1 1/2 cans sweet milk
Butter
Salt and pepper
1/2 c. grated sharp cheese

Arrange potatoes and onions in alternate layers in a greased casserole. Pour soup diluted with milk and season layers with salt, pepper and dot with butter. Bake, covered, in 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours or until potatoes are tender. Uncover, sprinkle cheese on top and bake for another 15 minutes.
