1/4 c. butter
1 (10 oz.) pkg. (about 40) regular marshmallows (or 4 c. miniature)
6 c. Kellogg's Rice Krispies cereal

Melt butter in large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat. Add Kellogg's Rice Krispies cereal, stirring until well coated. Using buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture evenly into buttered 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Cut into squares when cool.

VARIATIONS: Add 1 cup raisins with cereal OR add 1 cup peanuts with cereal OR stir 1/4 cup peanut butter into marshmallow mixture just before adding cereal.
