SOUTHERN STYLE SAUSAGE DRESSING | |
1 lb. sausage 1 c. chopped celery 1/2 c. chopped onion 1 recipe biscuits, crumbled (about 5 c.) 1 recipe cornbread, crumbled (about 5 c.) 1 tsp. poultry seasoning 1/2 tsp. black pepper 2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans chicken broth Saute sausage, celery and onion. In large bowl combine sausage mixture and remaining ingredients; blend well. Stuff mixture into bird and roast according to standard roasting directions or mixture may be baked in a greased 13"x9"x2" pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until lightly browned. 10 to 12 servings. |
