WILD RICE-HAMBURGER CASSEROLE | |
2 c. boiling water 2/3 c. uncooked wild rice, washed 1 (10 1/2 oz.) cans chicken rice soup 1 sm. can sliced mushrooms, undrained 1/2 c. water 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. celery salt Garlic salt or powder 1 sm. onion, chopped 1 lb. hamburger Pour boiling water over rice; cover and let stand for 15 minutes. Drain. Place rice in a 2 quart casserole. Add soup, mushrooms with liquid, 1/2 cup water and seasonings. Mix and let stand for a few minutes. Brown hamburger and onion together; add to the casserole. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 2 hours. |
