JULIA'S POPPY SEED CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. oil
4 eggs
3 c. flour (sifted)
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 can Milnot
1 can Solo poppy seed

Mix sugar and oil well. Add 1 egg at a time. Beat well. Add flour, soda, milnot alternately to mixture. Add poppy seed. Bake in 350 degree oven in tube pan (ungreased) for about 1 hour and 10 minutes. Let set for 10 minutes (or until you think it's cool enough) before removing. My mother, Julia Urmonas, often baked this for the Senior's Bazaar Bake Sale.
