CRANBERRY COFFEE CAKE 
Cake:

1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
1/2 pint sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1-8 oz. can whole cranberry sauce
1/2 c. nuts

Cream sugar and butter together. Add unbeaten eggs, one at a time. Mix other ingredients alternately with sour cream. Grease 8 or 9-inch tube pan. Layer batter and cranberry sauce. Swirl cranberry sauce with a spoon.

Bake at 350°F for 55 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes and remove from pan.

Glaze:

3/4 c. confectioners sugar
1 tsp. warm water
1/2 tsp. almond or vanilla extract

Mix ingredients together and pour over cake with a spoon.
