FUDGE PECAN PIE | |
1 unbaked (9-inch) pastry shell 2 tbsp. butter 2 oz. butter 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate 2 eggs 1 c. dark corn syrup 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1/8 tsp. salt 1 c. pecan halves Melt butter and chocolate in top of double boiler over hot water. Beat eggs slightly. Mix in corn syrup, sugar, butter, chocolate mixture, vanilla, and salt, then pecans. Pour into unbaked shell. Bake in 400 degree oven for 30 minutes. Lower temperature to 350 degrees and continue baking 30 to 35 minutes. Filling should be slightly less set in center than around edge. |
