SIRLOIN TIPS OVER NOODLES 
2 tbsp. Crisco
2 lbs. beef sirloin tip (cut into 1 inch cubes)
2 cans (10 1/2 oz.) condensed beef consomme
1 can (10 1/2 oz.) beef broth
1/3 c. red burgundy or if desired cranberry sauce
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. onion powder
2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 to 4 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. water
1 pkg. wide Creamette noodles or 4 c. cooked Minute Rice

Melt shortening in large frying pan. Brown meat on both sides. Stir in consomme, beef broth, wine, soy sauce, garlic and onion powder. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 1 hour or until meat is tender.

Blend cornstarch and water. Stir gradually into meat mixture. Cook stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir 1 minute. Serve this over cooked wide noodles or Minute Rice. Very good.
