PIEROGI CASSEROLE 
10 to 12 potatoes
3/4 lb. Cheddar cheese
1 lb. lasagna noodles
2 c. onions, finely chopped
1 c. butter

Boil and mash potatoes. Add 3/4 pound grated Cheddar cheese; mix well. Cook 1 pound lasagna noodles as directed on package. Saute 2 cups onions in one cup butter. Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan. Add layer of cooked lasagna noodles. Top with mashed potatoes. Repeat, ending with noodles. Pour sauteed onions over the top. Cover with foil. Heat until hot in 350 degree oven.
