BRAN PANCAKES 
1 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
2 eggs, separated
1 c. All-bran cereal
6 tbsp. butter, melted

Sift dry ingredients. Beat egg yolks and add to dry ingredients along with buttermilk. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in with bran and butter. (I often vary these by using dried buttermilk instead of fresh, not separating the eggs, or by substituting vegetable oil instead of butter. They're still good.)
