VEGETABLE MEDLEY 
1 c. carrots, cut into 2 x 1/4 inch sticks
2 tbsp. water
2 c. sm. to med. cauliflower flowerets
2 c. sm. to med. broccoli buds
2 tbsp. water
1 1/2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
2 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled (optional)
1 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
Dash pepper

In 1 1/2 quart casserole, combine carrots and 2 tablespoons water, cover. Microwave on high two minutes. Add cauliflower, broccoli and 2 tablespoons water, cover. Microwave on high 4 to 6 minutes or until almost cooked, stirring once during cooking. Add mushrooms, cover. Microwave on high 1 to 3 minutes or until mushrooms are tender. Drain. Toss vegetables with cheese, bacon, butter, salt and pepper. Makes 4 to 6 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
