LASAGNE 
1 lb. sausage, Owens regular
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp. whole basil
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes, 2 c.
2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
10 oz. lasagne noodles
3 c. creamy cottage cheese
1/2 c. Parmesan or Romano cheese, grated
2 tbsp. parsley flakes
2 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 lb. Mozzarella, sliced thin

Brown meat slowly, spooning off fat. Add next five ingredients. Simmer uncovered 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cook noodles in large amount of boiling salted water until tender; drain. Combine remaining ingredients except Mozzarella. Place 1/2 of noodles in 13 x 9 inch dish. Spread 1/2 of cottage cheese filling, add Mozzarella on top. Add 1/2 meat sauce. Repeat layering. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes.
