KAL DOLMAR 
1 med. head cabbage, parboiled
1 lb. hamburg
1 c. cooked rice
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 tsp. allspice
Salt, pepper to taste
1 egg

Mix together meat, egg, rice, sugar, onions and spices. Moisten with water until soft, good consistency. Separate cabbage leaves. Put 1 tablespoons of mixture on each leaf, roll up and wrap white thread around each to hold together. Place in buttered baking pan; top with pieces of butter and dot with ketchup (optional). Bake in 375 degree oven until brown, turning once. When done, remove thread and serve. (14 small rolls)
