CARROT PUDDING 
1 c. grated carrots
1 c. chopped suet
1 c. currants
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. molasses
1 c. grated potato
1 c. chopped raisins
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour

Mix and steam for 3 hours. Serve with hot sauce.

SAUCE:

1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. flavoring
Vanilla or lemon

Mix sugar, flour, and butter in saucepan. Add hot water (1 1/2 cups) and cook until thick. Add flavoring and pour over hot pudding.
