1 c. white sugar
1/3 c. hot water
1/4 c. butter
1/3 c. Karo
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. vanilla
Food coloring
3 qts. popped corn

Mix sugar, water, butter, Karo, salt, vanilla and food coloring. Boil until it threads. Pour over popcorn and stir well. Wet hands with cold water and form at once into balls (shake hands to remove excess water). Makes 16.
