DAD'S FRENCH MEAT PIE 
2-3 lb. hamburg
4-5 lb. potatoes
1 jar beef and onion gravy
2 pkg. frozen pie shells (3 in each)
Onion salt
Garlic salt
Salt and pepper to taste
1 egg
Milk for consistency

Peel and cut potatoes. Brown the hamburg. Boil the peeled and cut potatoes for 20 minutes. Drain the hamburg. Drain the potatoes. Mash the potatoes (as if you were making mashed potatoes). Add 1 egg, milk, salt and pepper to taste. Add ground beef and mix together. Add jar of gravy and mix. Spoon into bottom of 3 pie shells.

Cover with a pie shell. Pinch the edges. Make 3-5 cuts in top of pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees approximately 1 hour or until golden brown. Serve with gravy or ketchup.

Makes 3 pies.
