DATE-NUT KRISPIES 
1/4 c. butter, melted
2 c. dates, cut and pitted
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
6 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 c. powdered sugar

In heavy skillet, blend melted butter, dates, sugar and eggs. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until reaches soft ball stage. Cool slightly, stir in Rice Krispies and nuts. Blend well. Sprinkle powdered sugar on wax paper. Shape mixture into 4 rolls in wax paper, chill and slice thinly. Yield: 5 dozen.
