RICE PILAF 
1 1/2 c. uncooked white rice
1 onion, chopped
3 1/2 c. chicken broth
1/4 c. butter

Saute onions in butter until tender. Add rice. Brown, stirring frequently over low heat. Add broth. Cover, simmering for 20 minutes. Remove from heat. Let stand covered for 20 minutes.
