SWEET POTATO SOUFFLE | |
1 (29 oz.) can yams 1 (16 oz.) can yams 1 1/4 sticks butter 3/4 c. white sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 eggs, beaten 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 c. brown sugar 1/3 stick butter 1/3 c. flour 1 c. nuts, chopped Cook, drain and whip yams. Then add butter. Add sugar, vanilla, eggs, nutmeg and cinnamon to baking dish, lightly buttered. TOPPING: Mix brown sugar (1/3 stick butter), flour and nuts. Then put on top. Bake at 350 degrees until top is hard. |
