MEXICAN MEDLEY 
2 tbsp. fat
1 lb. ground beef
1 green pepper, minced
1 lg. onion
1 (#2) can kidney beans
1/4 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. raw white rice
2 1/2 c. tomatoes

Melt fat in skillet and brown the meat, peppers, and onions. Add the kidney beans, tomatoes, chili powder, salt, and rice. Cook until steam appears. Do not stir while cooking. Turn to simmer and cook 25-30 minutes.
