HAMBURGER STROGANOFF 
2 c. raw noodles or macaroni
Butter to noodles
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 med. onion, chopped fine
1 can mushroom soup
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 soup can of water
1/2 c. sour cream
Salt and pepper to taste
Extra mushrooms may be added if desired

Brown beef and onion. Add soup, garlic powder and water. Also mushroom pieces if used. Simmer about 30 to 45 minutes.

While simmering, cook noodles as directed on package. Drain and add butter. Put in 1 to 1 1/2 quart baking dish.

Add sour cream to meat mixture and stir carefully. Heat on low heat. Pour over buttered noodles in baking dish. When ready to use, heat in oven for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
