BARBECUED HAMBURGERS 
2 lbs. ground beef
2 tbsp. shortening
1 c. chopped celery
2 tbsp. chopped onion
3 tbsp. barbecue sauce
2 1/2 c. tomato juice
1 can chicken gumbo soup
3 tbsp. quick cook oatmeal
1 tbsp. salt

Saute beef, celery and onion in shortening. Then add remaining ingredients and simmer.
