DOUBLE FUDGE CAKE 
1 c. Crisco
1 stick real butter
1 c. water
1/4 c. cocoa
2 c. sugar
2 c. plain flour
1/4 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs

Mix sugar and flour in large mixing bowl. Bring to boil: Crisco, butter, cocoa, and water and pour over flour and sugar; mix well. Add eggs, buttermilk, soda, and vanilla. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.

Grease and flour 9 x 13 pan; bake 45 minute at 350 degrees. Leave in pan after baking.

FUDGE NUT ICING:

1 stick butter
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 c. sweet milk

Bring above ingredients to boil over low heat, remove from heat and beat in a 1 pound box of confectioners sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and 1 cup chopped pecans. Spread on cake. Let set overnight before cutting cake.
