KARO CLASSIC PECAN PIE 
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. Karo syrup (light or dark)
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. pecan halves
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell

Stir together first 5 ingredients until blended. Add nuts. Pour into pastry shell. Bake in 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean.

CHOCOLATE PECAN PIE:

Decrease sugar to 1/3 cup add 4 ounces melted semi-sweet chocolate.
