IRISH BREAD 
3 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. raisins
3/4 c. currants
3 eggs
3 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 1/4 c. buttermilk

Cream together sugar and butter. Add eggs and beat well. Add flour, powder and soda, alternating with buttermilk. Add raisins and currants. Pour into greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
