ROYAL RAISIN SAUCE | |
Simmer 1 cup raisins in two cups of water for 15 minutes. Make paste of 2 tablespoons of cornstarch, 2 tablespoons sugar, 1/8 teaspoon salt, 2 tablespoons cold water. Add to raisins. Heat until thick. Remove from heat. Add 1 tablespoon of butter, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Mix well. (Delicious sauce served on ham, ham loaf or roast pork.) |
