BEET SALAD 
16 oz. sliced beets
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. caraway seeds
1 sm. Bermuda onion, sliced thin

Drain beets and mix the juice with sugar, caraway seeds and vinegar. Mix beets and onion together in bowl. Pour marinade on beets and refrigerate overnight to get best flavor. Blend. For variety try adding 2 tablespoons burgundy wine to marinade.
