PECAN PIE BARS | |
2 c. flour 1 c. brown sugar 1 c. butter 1 c. light Karo syrup 5 eggs 3/4 c. sugar 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 c. chopped pecans Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut butter into flour and brown sugar until in coarse crumbs. Press into 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 15 minutes until golden. Combine syrup, eggs, sugar, vanilla, and pecans. Pour over crumb mixture in pan. Bake at 275 degrees for 50 minutes or until center sets. (This is Tara and Trina's favorite recipe. Tara makes it when we have holiday get-togethers.) |
