SMOKY BRISKET | |
4-5 lb. beef brisket 5 oz. soy sauce 1/4 c. lemon juice 1 garlic clove 1 tbsp. vinegar 1 tbsp. liquid smoke 1 can beef consomme Place brisket in dish. Combine other ingredients and pour over meat. Marinate for 24 hours. Reserve 1/4 to 1/2 cup of marinade; pour off the rest. Place brisket along with reserved marinade in foil, wrap. Cook in shallow baking dish for 4-5 hours at 300 degrees. |
