CEREAL CANDY 
1/4 lb. butter
1/4 c. dark syrup
1 c. brown sugar
3 c. Rice Chex cereal
1 c. nuts or peanuts

Boil 2 1/2 minutes the syrup, brown sugar and butter. Pour over the cereal and stir until coated well. Put in greased pan and break apart when cooling. Just put in bite-size pieces.
