STEW CHICKEN 
Kill and pick a big hen or if you don't have hens, buy a big hen or fryer. Cut up and cook until tender. Get chicken out of broth and start to boil, burn down on low heat.

DOUGH:

4 c. flour, self rising
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. cooked chicken broth
1/4 c. Crisco
Little water if needed

Mix and roll out dough 1/4 inch thick, cut in 1 inch strips. Drop in boiling broth. Cook slow 4-4 minutes or longer. Or you may spoon out and drop in broth if you don't want to roll out.
