SHORT CUT PIEROGI 
2 lg. cans sauerkraut
1/2 lb. salt pork (or butter)
2 lg. onions, chopped
1 pkg. bow tie egg noodles
2 cans mushrooms (stems & pieces)
1 cooked sliced kielbasi
Salt & pepper to taste

Rinse kraut with cold water; drain simmer 5 minutes. Dice salt pork and fry down to little bits. Add onions and mushrooms. Cook until brown and tender. Add cooked kraut to the pork bits, onions and mushrooms; fry 10-15 minutes. Add cooked bow tie noodles to fry pan. Add sliced kielbasi to fry pan or serve on the side. Delicious!
