MACARONI AND CHEESE 
3 tbsp. butter
2 1/2 c. uncooked macaroni
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 qt. milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place butter in 2 quart casserole and place in oven to melt butter. Pour macaroni into casserole with melted butter. Stir to coat macaroni with butter. Sprinkle salt, pepper and shredded cheese through macaroni. Toss lightly. Pour milk over all. Do not stir. Do not cover while baking. Bake 1 hour.
