SWEDISH AMBROSIA CAKE 
2 eggs
2/3 c. sugar, scant
2/3 c. butter
2/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Bread crumbs to cover bottom of pan

Beat eggs and sugar until white and fluffy. Work butter until creamy and add to eggs. Sift together flour and baking powder; stir in until well blended. Pour into well-buttered and bread-crumbed cake pan and bake 30 minutes in a slow (300 degree) oven.

ICING:

1 tbsp. orange juice
1/3 c. powdered sugar
3 tbsp. candied orange peel, chopped or almonds (For Christmas use red or green candied cherries, chopped.)

Use small baking pan 9 inch square or round cake pan.
