DOUBLE LAYER BANANA CAKE | |
2 1/4 c. cake flour 1/2 tsp. baking powder 3/4 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. butter 1 1/2 c. sifted sugar 2 eggs 1 c. lightly mashed banana 1 tsp. vanilla 1/4 c. yogurt or buttermilk Resift flour with baking powder, soda and salt. Set aside. Cream butter. Add sugar, set aside. Beat eggs, 1 at a time. Add banana, vanilla and yogurt or buttermilk. Alternately add banana mixture and butter mixture to flour mixture. Beat until smooth. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour. When cool, frost with Creamy White Frosting. |
