Mix:

2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
4 tbsp. cocoa
1/8 tsp. salt

Combine in saucepan:

1 c. water
1 stick butter
1/2 c. oil

Bring to boil and pour over flour mixture.

Combine:

1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda dissolved in buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Pour over above and beat well. Bake in greased 11 x 16 inch pan at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

ICING:

Frost with this while still warm. Heat in saucepan:

1 stick butter
1/3 c. milk

Pour this over dry ingredients.

4 c. powdered sugar
4 tbsp. cocoa
Dash salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Pecans or coconut
