$WHOLE WHEAT APPLE PIE$ 
2 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. butter
Pinch of salt
5 tbsp. cold water
5 lg. Granny Smith apples
Honey, to taste
Cinnamon, to taste

Cut 1/2 cup butter into flour and salt until blended. Add cold water and form into ball. Chill for 2 hours, or overnight. Divide dough in half. Roll dough out on floured bread board (large enough for 9 inch pie pan). Peel and core apples, cut into small slices and put in bowl. Melt butter in saucepan combined with honey and cinnamon. Pour over apples and stir until apples are coated. Pour into pie shell. Roll out dough and put top on pie. Seal edges. Cut steam hole in top of pie. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
