CARAMEL CANDY BARS 
1 pkg. (14 oz.) caramel candies
1/3 c. milk
2 c. flour
2 c. oatmeal
1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 c. butter
6 oz. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Heat candies and milk over low heat. Mix flour, oatmeal, brown sugar, soda, salt and egg in a large bowl. Stir in butter with a fork until mixture is crumbly.

Press half the mixture in a 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 10 minutes. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts. Then drizzle with the caramel mixture. Sprinkle the remaining crumbly mixture over top. Bake for 20-25 minutes more.
