1 med. head of cabbage, shredded 3/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. prepared mustard 1/2 c. chopped onion 12 pimento-stuffed olives, chopped 1 green pepper, chopped 1 tsp. celery seed 1/2 tsp. pepper 3/4 c. vinegar 1/2 c. vegetable oil Toss cabbage, sugar, onion, olives and green pepper in a large bowl. Set aside. Boil celery seed, mustard, pepper, vinegar and oil 3 minutes. Pour hot mixture over cabbage, cover and refrigerate 24 hours before serving. Serves 8. |
