SUPER COBBLER 
8 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
5 c. shortening
2 c. water
5 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 lbs. butter
1 gallon apples, peaches, or cherries

Combine first 4 ingredients together; roll pie crust out (not too thin); place in large cobbler pan; let crust hang out over pan; sprinkle nutmeg and slice butter over crust. Add fruit of choice; sprinkle nutmeg, sliced butter, sugar and flour over fruit freely; fold pie crust over fruit and roll out more crust to cover top. Sprinkle nutmeg and slice butter on top. Preheat oven on 350 degrees; cook for 1 1/2 hours.
