PEAR AND GINGER SALAD 
Chill and drain 1 medium can of pears. Place pear halves on heart leaves of lettuce, fill cavities with ground candied ginger or preferably preserved ginger in syrup.

Mix 1 cup mayonnaise with 1 cup sour cream. Pour over salad and garnish with sprinkle of ground ginger or strips of candied ginger.
