FETTUCCINE ALFREDO 
1 lb. fettuccine
1 c. butter, softened
1 c. cream, room temperature
2 c. grated or shredded Parmesan cheese

Cook pasta in 8 quarts boiling water for 8 minutes. Drain, but do not rinse pasta. Immediately pour pasta into heated bowl. Toss with butter, cream and cheese. When butter and cheese are completely melted, serve at once. Serves 8. Variation: Add mock crab, also. Wonderful dish!
