INDIAN CORNBREAD 
1 c. enriched cornmeal
1 c. flour
2 tbsp. sugar; optional
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 egg, beaten

Combine all ingredients. Pour batter in a greased 8 or 9 inch square pan. Bake 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
